I'm Married!

On the 14 of May 2006 I got married......

As all of the vistors to my site know, I am a big fan of adding color to weddings. So when I married I decided to make it a very colorful day. I also thought about using a theme, so I went with a candy theme. (You read right, candy! I've already had the white-wedding experience, and wanted something a little different)

The bridesmaids had lollipops in their bouquets. I also made two topiary trees that were covered in lollipops which became my bombonieres.

Across each table I had a piece of ribbon with lollipops tied to it which were also bombonieres. There was one lollipop for each person on that table (ie: if there were ten people at the table there were ten lollipops tied to the ribbon).

Even my throw bouquet was in keeping with the theme it was a cookie and candy bouquet.

Even now two months later I am still getting comments about the wedding and about how everything was colorful and beautiful and how much fun people had.

I even had a friend of my husbands tell me she wished she had known me when she got married as she would have asked me to make her bouquets. We had a great day and a lot of fun.
